Do you need plans to quote?

For new housing yes, you will need plans & elevations unless the quotation is for a single window. For replacement joinery, we prefer to visit your site.

Should I talk to you for advice before I get plans done?

Yes it’s always best to be well informed and up to date with what can be achieved with the latest products and technology, and how these suit your home or commercial property. 

Can you visit the site before quoting? Will there be a charge?

Our site visits & quotations are free of charge at South Otago Windows and Doors.

I need some design advice – can you help?

We offer a full design service with experience – over 15 years in the industry – we know our product and longevity. We talk ventilation, colour, available options, and best match for how you would like to live in the home, environment etc. Windows and doors are like holes in a plan, which can be filled in a magnitude of ways.

Do you have a design service?

We do for kitchen joinery, we provide a full set of working drawings with complete pricing. New housing, alterations, commercial projects/developments.

Can I come and look at your products?

We’re currently in the process of developing and building a fully interactive showroom in the next few months. However, throughout the South Island we have numerous past clients who would be delighted to show you their joinery.

Do you deliver? How far away?

We go where the job is – (from top south to bottom and anywhere in between).

Do you install?

Yes, we prefer to install our kitchen joinery, cabinetry, and aluminum joinery or work alongside your chosen contractor/builder/building company.

Do you make all the Joinery in your own workshops?

All our aluminum is manufactured right on site, with excellent quality control measures in place. We work with leading suppliers to ensure a high quality product and accessories to suit your project. All kitchen joinery is custom-made onsite by our highly skilled cabinetmakers; we work alongside leading bench top and fixture suppliers to delivery on-time and on budget.
